We have had a nice few days in Fowey when we saw our cousins and our granny Mimi.
On Saturday morning, after home school, Mimi and our cousins came over to see us in the water taxi. They brought us Cornish Pasties for lunch! Our aunt Katrina and our cousins Cyra and Nell hadn't sailed on Coconut before, but our cousin Otto had - he came to the Isles of Scilly with us a couple of years ago. After lunch Mimi left in the water taxi and we got ready to go sailing. Daddy talked about the safety rules for the boat which we do every time somebody new comes sailing. Then we put our lifejackets on and went out for a sail.
We sailed across St Austell bay in nice winds. Our cousins were very lucky as we did more than 7 knots most of the time, and at one time we were sailing faster than a race boat with black sails.
After sailing we came ashore and went to our cousins house for dinner and then we stayed the night with Mimi.
On Sunday, we went to the beach at Talland Bay with our cousins. I (Fergus) went body boarding with the cousins, then we had lunch, then went to the Talland Bay cafe for ice cream.
On Monday, we did home school, then Mummy and Daddy needed to do some work on the boat so we stayed with Mimi and went to the beach in Fowey. Then we met up with Mummy and Daddy for lunch in Fowey, and went home to meet Otto after he finished school.
On Tuesday, after home school we went to the river in Lostwitheil, then went back to Mimi's house and met up with Daddy's aunt Penel. Otto and Nell came to play with us after school again.
Yesterday (wednesday) we left Fowey early and motored to Falmouth as there was no wind and the sea was very flat.
We came to Mylor marina and in the afternoon we walked into Mylor village. I (Archie) fell over and cut my arm. We bought a BFG dream jar in the shop.
Today we are in Mylor. It is pouring with rain, so after home school we started to make our Dream Jar. While we waited for it to dry we did some painting.
PS: Bourbon Biscuit Challenge! Try to make a bourbon biscuit last as long as possible while nibbling every 5 seconds. Our record is 1 hour and 11 minutes by Fergus.
