A quick update from Vigo.

We have been waiting for the delivery of a spare part which was shipped last week and frustratingly has taken 6 days to arrive. However, tracking says it is now out for delivery so hopefully it will arrive soon and we can leave later today (Wednesday).

The plan is to head to Madeira, a 700 mile trip. The forecast suggests mostly light wind, a lot of motoring, and about 4 days passage time, so hopefully we'll arrive late on Sunday 22nd. You'll be able to track us on the blog.

We've been making the most of our time here, exploring Vigo and the surrounding area, doing home school and getting the boat ready for the next leg. We walked up a hill, visited the beach and a fortification above Vigo, and the boys have been using the scooters which have spent too long in the lazarette locker! The boys will write an update with some photos from the last few days soon.

Fingers crossed that DHL come good today!
