Saturday 30th March
Today we sailed to Gosport. We got there, after relaxing for a short while, then we went to the submarine museum. It was really fun and we saw Holland 1 the first British submarine. We also went on to HMS Alliance.
Sunday 31st March
Today we went to the HMS Warrior and went aboard it’s a very fascinating and very beautiful ship. And it’s the biggest wooden warship ever. And we saw the Mary Rose and HMS Victory, two big, powerful and beautiful vessels.
Monday 1st April
Today we sailed from Gosport back home did some chores and chilled out on the boat THE END.
My highlight - Going under HMS Victory, because you can see what the parts of a boat usually underwater look like e.g. the keel and rudder.
Fergus’ highlight - Drawing lots of Pokémon from memory and showing everyone on the boat.
Mum’s highlight - how long it took the kids to find all the Easter eggs on the Easter egg hunt. There are not many hiding places, but turns out I am very imaginative when it comes to hiding things.
Dad’s highlight - the short but beautiful sailing we managed on both Saturday and Monday. Always happiest with the sails up.
