On Monday we started off with home school. After home school we walked along the walls of the city to the beach. There is a big seawater pool but unfortunately it was closed to have work done for the summer. We walked along the beach to find shells. I got very sandy! Then we played frisbee.
In the afternoon we left St Malo through the lock to sail to Saint Cast.
The big fast ferry passed us in the channel. We had a nice sail to Saint Cast and I did some steering (Fergus). When we arrived we all had showers.
On Tuesday we went to the beach in Saint Cast. We walked along the promenade cut into the rocks. We found more cool shells on the beach. We played football and frisbee and had a nice ice cream.
Today (Wednesday) we left early and motor-sailed past Ile de Brehat to Lezardrieux. I (Fergus) did a lot of helping on deck but Archie stayed in his bunk and read his kindle. We had to sail up a river, we could see lots of rocks that would be covered at high tide. This afternoon we wandered into town and found a newsagent to buy some postcards, and a boulangerie to buy some pastries. Tomorrow we are planning to take a ferry to visit the Ile de Brehat.
